After developing our direct advocacy program, Common Thread, we recognized the need to build out and strengthen a permanent network of local, safe adults for Survivors of human trafficking.
Allies Peer Support is evidence based and Survivor informed, operating with the understanding that long-term dependable, positive adult relationships are the key to a sustainable recovery. It takes a village, and Allies Peer Support is looking for individuals willing to be a positive force in the lives of Survivors. Together, we will identify the tools needed for success.
Our Allies are safe adults who build positive relationships with Survivors to assist them in regaining their voice. We believe we will start Survivors on the journey from Survivor to Thriver by surrounding them with a supportive village.

Yes. Allies Peer Support provides 15 hours of training before Allies begin the matching process with a survivor. We also require continuous training throughout the year to ensure Allies have the tools they need for a successful allyship.
We cannot guarantee that you will be matched with a survivor upon completion of the pre-match training. Allies are matched with survivors based on compatibility, which takes time to determine.
We pair one Ally with one survivor. It is essential for us to ensure both sides of the allyship have the support necessary for a successful match.
